The first book from John Baskerville's press, introducing the typographic world to the Baskerville types much admired by Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Johnson and others. A portion of the text was printed on wove paper believed to have been produced by James Whatman; this was apparently the first use of wove paper to appear in the West. Bookplates of George Courtenay and Robert Throckmorton.
