American, probably Pennsylvania, ca 1835-1840. A group of seven early tolewares to include a lighthouse coffee pot with domed lid and gooseneck spout, a lidded sugar bowl, a tea castor, a bread tray, possibly Upson Shop of Connecticut, and two coffin-form trays, PLUS a hog scraper candlestick; stick ht. 10 in., bread tray lg. 14 in., coffee pot ht. 11 in.
