He became a professional painter in 1981, when he received a bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the University of Mogi das Cruzes in Sao Paulo. Valter De Morais's works are deeply rooted in the cubism represented By Picasso and a pop art style, movement that emerged in the late 1950's.
