Description

A part-built 3 1/2 inch gauge 4-6-0 locomotive and tender 'Black Five', the copper boiler built from a Blackgates kit with fitted sight glass, regulator, direction control and fitted cab lever operating the cylinder drain-cocks, chassis with fitted twin outside cylinders, Walschaert's valve gear and oil lubricating system, the six-wheel tender almost completed, with a fitted hand operated water pump, 119cm long, the cab 18cm wide. Boiler History: None available. Chassis has been run on compressed air.
