CONGRESS SPRING CO. NEW YORK WATER BOTTLE, deep emerald green, pint size, embossed "CONGRESS SPRING CO." arched over "SARATOGA, N.Y." with centered "C" trade mark, "Robert N. Harper Washington, D.C." paper label to reverse covering embossed "CONGRESS WATER", applied sloping mouth with lower collar, slightly concave base with four dimples. Attributed to Saratoga Mountain Glassworks. Third quarter 19th century. 7 1/2" H.

Provenance: Property of a Rockbridge Co., VA private collector.

Condition

Excellent condition overall, two minor chips to lower ring of mouth.
