An early 20th century 15ct gold split pearl and enamel locket, the circular blue enamel locket with white enamel border, central split pearl and gold detail, suspended from a later added chain. Length of pendant 3.2cms. Length of chain 39cms. Weight 11.2gms.

Overall fairly good condition, with light surface scratches from general wear, the back may have had an engraving on it at one point that has been polished out as there are small 'pitted' areas to the central back. There are some small surface chips to the white enamel border, the blue enamel is in good condition with just a few light surface scratches. The locket closes flush and hinge is in good working order. Stamped 15 to the inside of the locket. The end of the chain has lead solder to the end jump rings and the chain and clasp is a later added replacement.
