An early 20th century 15ct gold enamel and gem-set snake brooch. Designed as a graduated green guilloche enamel snake, with ruby cabochon eyes, wrapped around a split pearl bar. Length 4.6cms. Weight 3.5gms.

Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. The enamel has slight loss towards the tip of the tail. Split pearls well matched. Rubies are a pinkish red hue. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Stamped 15ct. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
