Beautiful collection of Zippo lighters with different NASA missions
Each of these six Zippo lighters has a special motive on the right side taking a NASA mission as a theme. The individual missions are:
Motive 1: Moon landing 20 July 1969
Motive 2: First Men on the Moon, 1969-1989
Motive 3: Spaceshuttle KSC, Florida
Motive 4: Bald eagle with the US flag, a transcript Creighton, Casper, Mullane, Hilmers and Thuot Mission STS-36 Atlantis 1990
Motive 5: US coat of arms with a transcript Mattingly, Onizuka, Payton, Buchli and Shriver (Mission STS 51c Discovery 1985)
Motive 6: Spacelab D1 Motive with a transcript Hartfield, Buchli, Nagel, Bluford, Dunbar, Messerschmid, Ockels and Furrer Mission STS 61 A Challenger 1985
The lighters are made out of chromed brass and were created in the 1980s and 1990s. Each of them has the dimensions of 5.5 x 3.7 x 1.3 cm. They are in a very good condition.
