Description
An American Arts and Crafts Period Oak Sideboard, by Gustav Stickley, Model #814 1/2. Oak construction throughout with a short slatted backsplash over a plank top and three dovetailed central drawers flanked on each side by a small door over one long linen drawer with original hardware on short straight legs. Red "Compass" marks on inside center drawer and on back. Old finish with good color, only slight wear, no major damage, some of the suede lining in top drawer is pulling loose. 56 x 22 x 47 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000 NOTE: Stamped mark on center drawer edge "A. A. Gray CO. Detroit, Mich." the A. A. Gray Co., Detroit, Michigan, was a Gustav Stickley Associate dealer ca. 1907.
Condition
Old finish with good color, only slight wear, no major damage, some of the suede lining in top drawer is pulling loose.
