Frank Wartenberg was introduced to photography as a guest student at the Hochschule für Bildende Kunst in Hamburg. Wartenberg’s works have become an integral part in magazines such as ‘Elle’, ‘Vanity Fair’ and ‘Harper’s Bazaar’, but also appear regularly in advertising. Wartenberg has also established as a celebrity photographer and portrayed countless celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Steffi Graf and Udo Lindenberg. The artist usually works in black and white, but also in color and covers all fields of presentation, ranging from depictions of the perfect beauty up to disturbing images of sex, drugs and pain.
