Circa 1947, NY–LINT Toys. Painted pressed steel wind-up car with multiple functions including parking and U-turns; wind-up and multi-function mechanisms appear to work perfectly, but the center undercarriage wheel that steers it has been neatly cut away, probably for aesthetic reasons; displays amazingly, but needs the fifth wheel to be put back on to work properly. This is the first toy Ny–Lint produced, and was introduced at the 1946 World’s Fair. Condition (C9 Near Mint). Size 13.5” L.
