KONRAD KUJAU
(1938 - 2000) German forger who became famous in 1983 as the creator of the so-called Hitler Diaries, which were sold for DM 9.3 million to the magazine Stern. They were soon exposed, and Kujau served four years in jail. A fine Kujau forgery of a handwritten letter by Adolf Hitler to Knights Cross recipient Walter Nowotny, Oct. 19, 1943, penned on an ornately-printed 13" x 18" letter sheet which Hitler would never have considered using...Fine.
