Includes: EDWARD TELLER (1908-2000), physicist, known as the "Father of the Hydrogen Bomb," honoring the end of World War II, postmarked Aug. 14, 1995, Columbus, Ohio; THOMAS FEREBEE (1918-2000), bombardier on the Enola Gay, signed "Tom Ferebee, Bombardier," honoring the death of Harry Truman, postmarked May 8, 1973, Independence, Missouri; PAUL W. TIBBETS (1915-2007), commander of the Enola Gay, signed "Paul Tibbets - Pilot, 6 Aug 1945," honoring the Enola Gay's flight; and FREDERICK J. OLIVI(1922-2004), co-pilot on Bockscar, signed "Fred K. Olivi, Lt. Col. USAF (Ret), Co-pilot B-29 Bockscar, Nagasaki Mission, 9 August 1945," honoring the 7 cent airmail stamp, postmarked Aug. 12, 1960, Arlington, Virginia.
