Description
"JEWRY'S STRUGGLE AND DEFEAT IN GERMANY"
German anti-Semitic book "Judas Kampf und Niederlage in Deutschland" ("Jewry's Battle and Defeat in Germany"), subtitled: "150 Jahre Judenfrage" ("150 Years of the Jewish Question") by Graf Ernst Reventlow, (Berlin: Zeitgeschichte Verlag), 1937. 400pp. 4to., red cloth with large black lettering on spine and front cover. A slightly different aspect from the typical racially-based hatred, propagated by most Nazis, as Reventlow's anti-Semitism was more culturally based, particularly depending on the debunked Protocols. Topics in this "study" include Jews' involvement in German government, war, Karl Marx, their "international" organization, the politics of anti-Semitism, etc. Illustrations include kosher butchers, and Oddfellows temple (!), images of prominent Jews in all fields with other images presenting orthodox Jews poorly, ritual murder, etc. Fine condition. Ernst Reventlow (1869-1943) was a German journalist and Nazi politician, a founder of the German Voelkisch Freedom Party (DVFP) who eventually joined the Nazis, bringing Bernhard Rust, Franz Stoehr, and Wilhelm Kube with him.
