REVAL KRIEGSMARINE SUPPLY DEPOT PHOTO ALBUM
Kriegsmarine supply deport photo album, "Kriegsmarine Administration Reval", calligraphically inscribed on the inside front cover to officer August Heger: "In memory of the year of building in the East 1941/42" and signed by ARNOLD AHRENDT, Kriegsmarine administration inspector. The album, with pre-printed captions for the original 4" x 3 1/4 and larger photos within, illustrates many different aspects of the base on the Estonian coast. Shown are structures on the base, staff officers, mess halls, office staffs, food, supply, and uniform warehouse contents, etc. Clearly the base was used to replenish vessels returning to port and facilities further east.
