(1847 - 1934) German general and politician, crushed the Russians at Tannenberg and in Poland, forced to yield the Chancellor's office to Hitler in 1933. Partly-printed D.S., 1p.large 4to., Berlin, June 7, 1932, a certificate officially thanking military lawyer Gustav Rotermund for having provided forty years of service to his country. A few wrinkles and a tiny edge tear, else very good.
