This lot is for Britains set 1791 of Royal Corp Signals Dispatch Riders, circa 1940. There are four riders mounted on motorcycles in olive drab service dress, tunics, trousers, and peak caps with blue and white arm bands, brown gauntlets, and boots. The motorcycles are olive drab and have revolving wheels with silver head lamps and exhaust pipes. The pre-war versions are lighter in color than the postwar version, and this pre-war set was made from 1939 to 1941. The pieces are in good overall condition with paint loss and wear consistent with age. Each piece measures approximately 2-3/4 inches long x 2 inches tall.
