Rare stainless steel gents Rolex GMT Master wristwatch, ref #6542. Black Rolex Oyster Perpetual dial with date. Blue and red "Pepsi" bakelite bezel. No crown guard case. Swiss made, automatic self winding movement. Comes on a stainless steel Rolex Oyster rivet bracelet. Dial and hands have patina. Bezel has scratches. Superficial scratches due to normal wear and age. Overall condition is good. Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.

The Rolex GMT Master, ref #6542, was introduced in 1954 as the first GMT Master in the Rolex line. This model was the official watch for Pan American Airlines as it allowed the pilots to keep track of their home time no matter where they were in the world.
