Catalogue Note: Omar Ramsden (1873 - 1939) and Alwyn Carr (1898 - 1940) were in partnership from 1898 to 1918. They were key figures in the English Art Nouveau movement and their work is much prized. Ramsden is particularly noted for hammered finishes and the inclusion of enamel work.
