This piece has a medium amount of overall grime/dust build up, there is visible grime build up around the edge all around from handling about 3" into the canvas. This piece has light stretcher bar indentions about 2" into the canvas, and there are two slight indentions vertically down the middle from the support bar. There is a medium-significant amount of scuffing to the surface of the piece concentrated to the black area , about 12" into the canvas from the edge. These scuffs are visible as slightly lighter pigment lines and visible in grazing light. Several of these scuffs especially at the bottom are a white pigment. There are several .5" diameter slight scratches scattering the black area with some light paint loss, most of these are on the stretcher bar line, and are corresponding with line scuffs. There is some paint loss to the edge of the canvas from where and scuffing, most significant on the corners. There is noticeable paint loss to the sides of the canvas from wear. There are also a few very light 1-3" dents in the colored area - mostly visible in grazing light.
