1852 letter to Peter Lashbrooke from Thom. W. Morton, concerning land for sale or rent, and having plowed "45 or 46 acres for hemp, 8 acres for corn and 75 acres for wheat", and killing hogs to sell bacon for 8 cents per pound, and about the management of his assets by his employee, who wasn't capable of "arranging for clothing for my negroes", with tears, taped; 1845 letter to Peter Lashbrooke from Thom. W. Morton; 1842 letter to Peter Lashbrooke from Thom. W. Morton acknowledging payment from the George Morton Estate, report on the hemp crop. All with some loss and tearing.
