Nayarit, Mexico, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. Pair of pottery standing figures in the style known as Chinesco. Each figure with typical triangular head, arms to the sides, painted in red pigment, one with added white highlights. Interesting pair! 4-3/8" H for tallest.
Provenance: Ex Holiday collection, Kansas acquired prior to 1970.
