Description
Ecuador, Ca 300 BCE to 500 CE. Interesting group of pottery fragments, mostly from larger vessels and incensories, four with the face of a human or some fantastic beast, one with animal looking into the rim of a pot, snake below. About 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" for largest.
Provenance: Ex-private R. Pearson collection, Colorado acquired at Arte Primitivo Gallery.
