Phurbu
Phurbu originally served to protect from demons and they are detailed crafted ritual objects. The phurbu is called phurba or phurpu in Tibetan – a word which translates to pin or tentpole. The phurbu is an often three-sided ritual dagger made of iron, wood or stone. It consists of a top with a god figure, a Vajra-shaped handle and a three-pronged tip.
Condition: The phurbus are in good condition with a natural patina and common traces of age and wear, such as some gold abrasion and small nicks. The length measures 20 and 24 cm.
