Garuda
Garuda is usually as a mythical bird, half man, half eagle, and the mount of Vishnu. Garuda plays a main role in both Hindu as well as in the Buddhist mythology. In the Asian legend Garuda is also a messenger of the gods and brings advices and instructions to the people. In Thailand and Indonesia Garuda is used as insignia or official seal of authorities and the government.
Condition: The bronze figure is in good condition with natural patina and slight signs of age and wear. The height measures 24 cm.
