This lot comprises twelve bottles of 1999 vintage Château Pavie from the Saint-Émilion appellation in Bordeaux.
Saint Émilion is next to Pomerol one of the best-known appellations on the right river bank of the Gironde. Merlot is the predominant grape variety here. As in Graves, Saint Émilion has its own classification for the wines produced there, updated approximately every ten years; the last time being in 2012.
The 1999 vintage Pavie was rated 95 points by Robert Parker in 2002. René Gabriel rated the wine 18 out of 20 points. James Suckling rated the wine 93 points for Wine Spectator in 2010.
The fill levels are excellent (high fill). The labels and capsules are in perfect condition.
