SEGOVIA ANDRES: (1893-1987) Spanish Guitarist. Bold black fountain pen ink signature and inscription, 'Pour mon ami Mr. Fred Schang, Souvenir, A Segovia', and date New York, 4th January 1929, on a card. Accompanied by a vintage unsigned 4.5 x 7.5 photograph of Segovia with his guitar. The card bears a few heavy tears (repaired with tape to the verso) only very slightly affecting the signature and date. Both the card and photograph have slightly irregularly trimmed edges. Together with Artur Rubinstein (1887-1982) Polish-American Pianist. A printed 8vo programme for a performance by Rubinstein with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra of works by Sergei Rachmaninoff at the Kiel Auditorium, 15th & 16th January 1944, signed and inscribed by Rubinstein in bold fountain pen ink to an inside page. Also including individually signed 8vo programmes by the violinist Erica Morini and the pianist Stefan Bardas. FR to VG, 4. €125-190||Frederick C.
