DE HAVILLAND GEOFFREY: (1882-1965) British Aviation Pioneer & Aircraft Engineer. A vintage signed 12.5 x 16.5 colour print entitled The Calm before The Storm, featuring an image of a Comet aircraft being prepared for entry into the MacRobertson Trophy Race of 1934, signed ('G. de Havilland') in fountain pen ink to the lower matt beneath a printed inscription, 'Presented to J. Reid in appreciation of twenty years' service with the de Havilland Enterprise', 1934-1954, also signed by four other individuals. Some very slight age toning to the edges of the matt, evidently caused by previous framing, about VG €125-150
