Description
A GOOD EARLY INLAID TIBETAN BRONZE FIGURE OF JAMBHALA, probably 14th/15th Century, the God of Wealth seated on a double lotus base, holding a jewel in his right hand and a mongoose in his left, his arm and neck adornments with turquoise stones, his face centred with the third eye, the crown with traces of gilding and with hoop earrings, his hair formed into a high chignon and with traces of blue colouring, the base sealed, 7.25in high.
