Description

A lantern from our newest large consignor with a massive, quality hardware collection. This lantern is an Adams & Westlake brass top bell bottom with a clean frame. The lid is stamped PRR in fancy larger lettering. The bell is a twist off model with a bottom that has a long list of patent information stamped in faint lettering. It is a standard size needing a 5 1/2" globe. The lid is clearly stamped PRR in fancy lettering. The bell bottom comes off easily. It has a nice brass burner. There is some "Bondo" like material on the edge of the inside of the bell. There is no damage so I don't know why this is present. Clearly there is no damage. The metal has been cleaned. The globe is a standard 5 1/2" Kopp product with a faint panel and PRR cast in bold, fancy lettering. The globe shows some age "yellowing". The frame and globe have been cleaned so this lantern can go right onto your shelf.
