Item Details

Description

A very nice ivory camel cane. The walrus ivory handle is 4" high and 2" at its widest. It depicts a stylized camel with white sulfide eyes and its head tilted downward. There is a 1" smooth silver collar marked: "Sterling" on a light tan oak shaft that ends with a 1" replaced brass ferrule. The overall length is 35 1/2" and the condition is very good. It is American, ca 1895, and it is a fine figural example with a rarely seen subject. Estimate: $900-$1300 This lot is subject to shipping restrictions outlined in Terms and Conditions.
