REMBRANDT VAN RIJN, (Dutch, 1606-1669): Etching, "The Baptism of the Eunuch", Etching and Drypoint, 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" with margins, hinge taped in upper corners, matted, 17 1/4" x 13 3/4", Depicts a Soldier on Horseback with Feathered Helmet, bow & arrows, and a lance, gazing at a group of three people at water's edge, one praying on one knee while he is ministered to by a bearded man in flowing robes. In the background can be seen a horse drawn carriage, foliage, and in the distance, a hillside with the outline of horses. Rembrandt's name is etched along bottom right corner: "Rembrandt/1641". On laid paper, probably a late 18th or early 19th c. print.

Pale staining, with minor discoloration, good condition, sold as is.
