An Egyptian limestone relief depicting a seated royal figure with cat and ankh, Late New Kingdom, c. 1200 - 1075 BC, double line border above and below. The cat is seated in the lap of the seated figure, the large ankh before. Some weathering and traces of another figure or sign on far right margin, light deposits throughout. 10 3/8 in x 10 ¼ in x 1 ½ in (27.5 x 26.1 x 3.8 cm). An attractive piece with folding metal stand and custom mount, the wood base with engraved brass plaque. Ex San Diego private collection.
