A George V Irish silver dish ring of circular form with gadroon borders, embossed with a central band of pendant husk and swag motifs with quatrefoil, diamond and oval piercing above, surrounding a small vacant roundel, and pierced with foliate scrolls below, missing liner. Hallmarked West & Son, Dublin with date letter for 1917 or 1919, also with impressed maker's name. Rim diameter across top measures 7 1/8 inches (18 cm) and across base measures 8 1/8 inches (20.5 cm), weight 11.43 ozt (355.6 grams).

The dish ring appears in good overall condition, displaying general wear including surface scratching, marks, minor nicks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some slight breaks or splits in the pierced decoration. Residues of polish. The hallmarks appear a little rubbed but are still clearly legible.
