Circa 1910, Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, impressed crown mark over impressed ''Imperial Amphora / Turn'' circular mark, further impressed ''Amphora'' and ''Austria'' within ovals, ''747'' and ''20'', the irregularly shaped, dished base ivory-glazed and molded with gilt-highlighted green-glazed irises entwining the rim and a figure of a reclining maiden draped in an elaborately polychrome-painted and gilt patterned robe, her hair ornamented with a bird, her left hand raised aloft, 18'' H x 20'' W x 12'' D, est: $1500/2000
Condition
Overall good condition. Scattered spots of rubbed wear to glaze, gilding and painted decoration. A glued repair to one wing of bird on figure's head.
