onumental Figural Bronze 12 in. Lobby Clock. 12 in. silvered dial has applied black Roman hour numerals & minute markers, fancy black hands, bronze door bezel hinged at the top with beveled glass and a forged bronze case measuring 14 in. dia.; brass signed Self Winding Clock Co. electric movement with deadbeat escapement driven by 2 pairs of coils, short drop pendulum has a brass covered bob and wood stick, movement numbered 98707. The timepiece rests on a fancy bronze base with hanging fruit and garland aprons, standing on 4 filigree and turned cornucopia feet; has inward facing figural male and female bronze figural corbel supports on either side with arms stretched out holding the timepiece. Bronze has a medium-dark chocolate brown patina and is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs to the bronze. 21.5 in. high x 46 in. wide x 7 in. deep. This clock was originally the master clock from the lobby of the Pantlind Hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich. which is now the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.
