072, T-Rail. Top of the line for Lionel. This 1937 set is a great example of a complete boxed set. It includes a 700E Full-Scale Husdon, early catsings. 1/16 clearance on tube track to bottom of cowcatcher. Only evidence of fatigue is a small bit near draw bar brace. Nice matte patina with bright rods and good stampings, replaced cross head support 1 side; Matching 700W tender, roller pick-up missing and some tape residue on one side. Matte patina with nice lettering; 792 FE coach, nice catsings with minor pimpling to front. some roughness to roof, but nice lettering, & shiny; 2 #793 coaches; 794 observation. Bellies have business card space from fatigure, not too bad, all have nice lettering and arec shiny. All cars have a scratch near bellie one side, as if scraped on a shelf bracket. One side is very nice. all have nice boxes with loco wrap, tender missing 2 inside flaps. Also includes boxed T-Rail track with 2 wrenches, some plates and screws with some peripherals. Rare set box is clean, but has a loose inner flap. Over-all the set is very presentable with a C7 loco; C6 tender(tape residue); C6 cars(scratch on each).
