The five etchings in colors by various German artists were published in 1994 by the Political Club Colonia under the title ‘Chelm’. It contains works by Felix Droese, C.O. Paeffgen, Georg Karl Pfahler and Rosemarie Trockel. The etchings include textual, photographic, conceptual and abstract geometric motifs and are each hand signed.
Four sheets are signed and dated by the artist lower right and fitted with the dry stamp of ‘Tiefdruckzone’ lower left. The work of Walter Dahn is numbered, titled, signed and dated on the reverse as well as marked with the dry stamp of ‘Tiefdruckzone’ lower left. All sheets are in very good condition, showing only minimal crease and pressure marks. The portfolio shows major wear. The dimensions of the sheets are 50 x 38 cm and 50 x 50 cm.
