Antique heliogravure on heavy wove paper after P. Tavernier. "The End of the Struggle", the wild boar, surrounded at last, meets his fate, but not before wounding or killing some of his pursuers. This impression is well more than 120 years old. This is not a modern reprint but was hand pulled from the copper plate late 1880's. (Image size 7 x 10 3/4 inches). Double matted and framed in a solid wood moulding. Frame dimensions 15 x 18 3/4 inches. This print is in excellent condition. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
