Mechanical cast iron bank with good original paint, made by J & E Stevens Company and listed in their trade catalog as no. 190 Kicking Mule Bank. Embossed in the casting is the line 'Always Did 'Spise A Mule'. Measures approximately 6.75 inches high by 11 inches. Patent date on the bottom reads 1879.

Condition

Very good original condition. Nice original paint, original closure intact. A nice example.
