LOOP / LEAF - BARRED VARIANT OPEN COMPOTE, colorless lead glass, the 13-loop bowl with five concentric rings in base that mimic the ten bars in each loop, raised on a high standard featuring seven elongated loops, wafer construction. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. Circa 1850-1870. 8 1/4" H, 11 1/2" D rim, 6 1/4" D foot.

Provenance: Property of a Pennsylvania private collector.
Catalogue Note: To our knowledge this pattern variant is previously unrecorded.

Condition

Excellent condition, bowl is undamaged, standard with several shallow chips to lower edges of loops and normal roughness to interior of foot.
