Description
19th Century bronze figure of goddess Annapurna from state Maharashtra. One side of the halo is reattached.Size: 5 inches in height and 3 inches in width. otherwise intact. Annapurna is also known to be a wife of god Shiva (another aspect of goddess Parvati) in India. She is considered a goddess of food in Hindu. It is compulsory to have this idol at home for Hindus to gain prosperity and food. A beautiful piece for Shivaite collectors.
