CONTINENTAL PAINTED WOOD SEWING BOX, 19TH C., H 6 1/2", W 12", D 9":The slanted tops is centered by a pin cushion, hinging open to a painted interior fitted with a hinged compartment and three small drawers. The exterior is painted with 18th Century style figures at various pursuits. Raised on four ball feet.

Condition

Original pin cushion is very worn, as well as the exterior decoration. The interior has been re-worked, including replaced hardware on the drawers, with wear seen to the feet. Ln
