Lucile fashion sketches, circa 1916. comprising: black robe de style performance costume for American dancer Florence Walton to wear at the Biltmore theatre, New York, 1916; a cocktail dress with matching hat, signed; cream lace robe de style with towering flower-basket hat; and an orientalist ensemble trimmed with colourful tassels, 37 by 19 1/2cm (3) The first gown was illustrated in American Vogue, June 15, 1916 with a photograph of Miss Walton wearing it.
