P.S. I Love You Final Letter And Envelope to Holly (Hilary Swank) From Gerry (Gerard Butler) - Voted one of the top ten "million Kleenex" movies of the past ten years, the box office sensation "P.S. I Love You" (2007) starred Hilary Swank as Holly, a young woman who must deal with the sudden death of her beloved husband, Gerry (Gerard Butler). However, he knew he was going to die, and created ten messages that he made arrangements to have delivered to her over a year's time to help ease her suffering. They all end with "P.S. I love you". The final letter is delivered her by her own mother, Patricia (Kathy Bates). It is the catalyst, (as her husband intended) to finally set her free to a new life. The letter is read out loud to her by her best friend Daniel (Harry Connick, Jr.), and the last line is the most poignant when Gerry writes: "Don't be afraid to fall in love again... watch out for that signal that life as you know it ends." This time, being his final letter, he finishes with: "P.S. I will always love you." Because this letter and envelope (with the infamous handwritten "Holly" on it) is used in several scenes in various locations, and of course, many takes were made of each sequence, several copies of the letter and envelope were created by the prop department. This is one of those production made letters and envelopes to be used in one of the three sequences (with her mother in the park when she first received the letter and reads it; back in her apartment when she reads it again, along with his other messages; and finally in the stadium when her friend Daniel reads it to her out loud, and she finally seems to come to grips with her sorrow). This all important letter and envelope have been beautiful crafted in a museum quality display. The two-page hand-written letter has been framed in its own Plexiglas frame, which is set in its own stand. An official "P.S. I Love You" lobby card is attached to it. On the stand is a second Plexiglas frame which encases the production made handwritten "Holly" envelope, as well as a screen shot of Holly ready the letter, and a plaque. Comes with a COA. Frame is damaged but can be repaired by a plexi glass expert.
