Description
Chinese Celadon Porcelain Vase, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the celadon and underglaze blue vase decorated with a dragon and a carp, the underside unmarked, h. 16-1/2", w. 10". Provenance: The collection of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Kendall, Jr., Houston Texas.
Condition
A few scattered abnormalities under the glaze from the firing process. Some areas with thinned glaze on the interior of the vessel and faint reddening on the underside. All wear is commensurate with age and display. No chips, breaks or evidence of restoration.
