Two Italian Grand Tour Obelisks, fourth quarter 19th century, comprising a bronze example depicting "Cleopatra's Needle", on a marble base with a bronze fence, h. 10-1/2", w. 3-3/4", d. 3-3/4", and a pietra dura example inlaid with malachite and a flower in the base, h. 10", w. 3", d. 3".

The bronze obelisk is in near mint condition. Expected wear to the base, no chips, cracks or restorations. The inlaid obelisk has scattered tiny chips around the base, one on next step up base, two on base of obelisk, one at top point, all very small, no cracks or replacements.
