This emotional lithograph in colors was made in the year 1989 by the American Pop-Art artist James Rizzi. The work shows a couple holding hands and looking deep into each other’s eyes. They connect day and night. Underneath the intertwined hands, one ca.n see a lot of hearts. In the distinctive style of the artist and in the almost childish simplicity, the lithograph has an overall romantic appearance.



The lithograph in colors by James Rizzi is signed by hand at the lower left with ‘Rizzi’ and entitled as well as dated in the print ‘Love is in the Air 89’. It is in good condition, it has marks for the framing. The golden frame is in good condition with traces of age and wear. The overall dimensions, framed, are c. 54 x 67 cm, sheet measures 34 x 47 cm.



James Rizzi (1950-2011)

Born in 1950 in New York, James Rizzi studied art from 1969 until 1974 at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Already shortly after he finished his studies, Rizzi’s works gained increasing popularity by gallery owners as well private collectors. The artist also created many public projects in his distinctive, naïve style, such as the Happy RIZZI House in Brunswig on the occa.sion of the Expo 2000. (sku)
