These six color photographs originates from the American artist Peter Wegner from the year 2006. Within the context of his series ‘Walls Windows Words’ these six photographs represent the ‘Walls. They are characteristic works of the artist, who is particularly interested in the intersection of art and architecture. Also colors of his immediate urban environment play in essential role for his inspiration.



All six photographs are verso signed ‘Peter Wegner’, numbered ‘P/P’ and dated ‘2007’ in black pen. They are in all in very good condition with merely some slight handling creases. The dimensions are each 33 x 48.6 cm.



Peter Wegner (b. 1963)

Peter Wegner is an American artist, whose oeuvre comprises paintings, photographs, collages, prints, artist books and large-scale installations. He studied at Yale University. The artist currently lives in Berkley, California. His works were part of various solo and group exhibitions in New York, Tokyo, berlin, Los Angeles and New Zealand. His works are in the possession of the collections of for example the J. Paul Getty Museums in Los Angeles, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museums in New York, the Museum of Modern Art Museums in New York and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
