Stamped medal hanging from a pinback, with picture of two miners shaking hands. Approx. 6x3.5 cm. (2¼x1½").

Scarce little souvenir from the first of the annual celebrations of pioneer days in the Old West held in early October in Denver, running from 1895 to 1899, and in 1901, with a final attempt at revival in 1912.
